On Sunday 14th, we went to @UoNSport to compete in the @BocciaEngland Super League finals!
We automatically got a bye from the quarterfinals into the semifinals, due to GEM Boccia dropping out.

Following that, we got to the 3rd/4th place off, where we would’ve met Paul’s Place. However they decided to leave the competition early - therefore automatically winning and getting bronze. 🥉
It’s been a very mixed season, and hopefully next year will be less of a bumpy road!
As some of you may know, we were top of the group - however added with the last results, we ended up 3rd for the National League and miss out on the Finals day in July.
For our Development squad, maybe next season? Who knows!

Over the weekend, our Solent Development team had their second and final group stage matches, and had a mixed day with two losses and a win. The results on Saturday can be seen in the photo below.

Our Super League team completed in yesterday’s @BocciaEngland Super League Day 3, and did well performance wise. We won one and lost two games.

Some of our members went to Coventry this weekend just gone to complete in Saturday’s @BocciaEngland Heathcoat Cup. There will be a seperate post for Sunday’s Super League.

Yesterday our Solent Boccia development squad played their team debut in the National League, and won 2 out of 3 games, with the results being a 5-4 loss to Spelthorne Suns and wins against Farnham 6-3 and vs Spelthorne Stars 7-2.
Their next match day is on the 11th May!

It was medals galore this weekend just gone as some of our members went to Crawley for their @BocciaEngland individual competitions!
On Saturday’s BE Cup, James picked up a silver, Fay getting bronze and Harrison taking a bronze as well. Zoe didn’t medal but played well.

Yesterday’s Heathcoat Cup saw Peter picking up a gold, with Jagger taking the bronze, Ted also grabbing a gold and Mayella coming 4th.
