Rather than listen to its students & help bring an end to the bloodshed, @thehertieschool is choosing to support the ongoing #GazaGenocide and keep cowardly silent during it. ENOUGH!
We call on the school’s staff, professors & administrators to end the institution’s complicity.
While @thehertieschool is choosing complicity, most of its students disagree. According to a recent poll, 57% of students agree that the school should issue a public statement calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. #CeasefireNOW
Currently, the ethnostate “Israel” is annihilating the north of the #Gaza Strip and the Jabalia refugee camp. The IOF has attacked two out of the three remaining hospitals there, killed at least 250 Palestinians, fired upon UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, and blocked all aid.
Please amplify. It’s important.
This is mass exodus of my people in north Gaza. Israel is emptying north Gaza to occupy it.
This is the General’s Plan. They have been bombing intensely school shelters and houses and hospitals and they have been preventing food or medicine from entering into the area for 2 weeks.
When will the united states stop this?
They said that Rafah was a redline. And now they said they were told by the Israelis that the General’s Plan is not in their mind.
They are doing it. And we are watching. No
We are funding it and protecting the aggressors.
There needs to be some action. Global Strike. Refrain from going to work unless you are a teacher or a doctor. Stay at home.
You can stop this and you need to act now. Well, you should have acted from before. Anyway!!!!
We kindly invite @thehertieschool students from religious minorities to our listening session this Thursday. By listening to you, we hope to identify areas to improve Hertie and our advocacy in terms of inclusivity. A 3rd party will moderate the session. https://t.co/cM5VM9jRcR
We hope the movement will keep its momentum to pave the way for systemic change and prevent cronies from capitalizing on the current situation in the country.
TO THE PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH, YOUR STRENGTH INSPIRES US ALL. (7/n)
#Bangladeshstudentprotest
Together, the students who risked their lives in the streets
daily, rickshaw pullers who rushed through the mayhem to
save protestors, and all those in solidarity with the
movement have proven that change through resistance is
still possible. (6/n)
Bangladesh’s army chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman has addressed the nation, confirming that PM Sheikh Hasina has resigned and that an interim government will run the country.
