Are they finally starting to get it?
In Michigan, Trump voters are feeling the financial pain of his tariffs, and some are having serious regrets.
A Detroit restaurant is losing $30K because Canadian visitors aren’t coming.
A warning: Trade wars don’t just hurt the people who support them. The damage spreads, and by the time everyone feels it, the consequences are so much harder to reverse.

I just voted for Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan because I support Medicare for All.
Why should insurance companies run our healthcare when the government would do a much better job?
The government has an excellent track record of providing services with efficiency, transparency, and affordability. And why does competition matter anyway?
One step closer to communism! ✊
CNN: This gas price spike is stunning. Voters were already very mad about high gas prices. Now they're going much higher. Talk about an October surprise. Two days ago, the average in Michigan was $4.44 a gallon. Look where we are now. $4.77 a gallon. That's a $0.33 increase. Look at Ohio, another major battleground state. We're looking at a $0.39 increase in the last two days.
“He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory"
Obama just spoke to an ELECTRIC audience in Ohio, skewering Trump and Pete Hegseth and making the case that while we may be stuck with the same president for two more years, we are not stuck with a spineless do-nothing Congress
Here are the highlights:

Nobody is doing it like the people of Albania right now. Last week they set their Supreme Court on fire, and tonight they are launching fireworks at police all to stop their corrupt government from allowing Jared Kushner to build a resort on public land.
Bill Maher: Democrats are really fed up with not being the macho party.
Andy Beshear: What I think is hysterical is Pete Hegseth is running around talking about testosterone, but he has a makeup stand and wears more hair gel than a boy band.
Bill Maher: I would love to hear a Democrat say the DSA is not socialism, it is communism.
Andy Beshear: There's only one current elected official in all of America that has taken government stakes in the means of production, and that's Donald J. Trump.
“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet.
Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed.
