@LeitungEvolved Like they introduce book/Sentinel characters with almost no proper explanation. Characters not seen in media in 20 some odd years. Characters you wouldn't know if you only watched the show. The whole comic becomes built around time travel bullshit too. It's dumb.

@LeitungEvolved Harmony Gold has shown an utter disdain for the canon previously created. To spite it they even create new plotholes to the show canon. Basically anything made after the original comic/novel line ended are as corporate driven as possible. Yes, Robotech gets even more corporate.

@AguniSoul @LeitungEvolved Robotech has some really good music, so that'll help you. I mean not the Minmay songs. Those are.... those are certainly a thing in the show. But the OST is great.

The novels are pretty good too. They tell the total story of the cancelled Sentinels sequel. And it's good!

@LeitungEvolved Yeah Southern Cross isn't really worth much outside of its Robotech connection. I'm not too sure its mecha have really ever gotten modern toy updates like many franchises have. The designs were just uninspired all around. 1/2
