Steam's 2-hour refund policy protects consumers AND devs
An indie dev wants it changed after 55,000 players refunded his game, many beating it in under 2 hours. I'm about to be the annoying one, because that policy is part of the reason he got 270k sales
Let me explain 🧵👇
Cheer up. My next game is probably going to sell even less.
Wishing you a wonderful game development journey and lots of success with this and your future projects.
So my game flopped after 3 years of work...😢
Since its release on May 26th, I've sold 77 copies... Streamers and curious gamers loved it.
I have 2800 wishlists, 800 of which are from the release date....
What do you think? Be honest.🙏
