The WES student council has been busy preparing special welcome gifts for our Atwood 2nd graders’ step up day at WES and have also planted lots of flowers for a special community treat. Spreading kindness like confetti throughout our community. ☀️#WeAreRSU18
We love our wonderful Williams crew! Today we rolled around with caffeine, cookies and some tunes as a special treat and boost of energy before a night of connecting with our WES families during parent/teacher conference night! So thankful for all our staff do each day.🩵🌻
Williams Elementary gave the Messalonskee Boys Basketball Team a start to their day the WES community hopes they will remember forever! We are so proud of their accomplishments and wish them all the best in the State Championship tonight!! Let’s GOOOOO! 🏀🦅🎉 ❤️

What a kick off to our Great Kindness Challenge. Student Council read Kindness is my Superpower to 3rd & 4th graders, put up a positive message in our school fence & hosted a spaghetti dinner/game night for our families. Blessed to be part of this amazing community! #WeAreRSU18

Our 1st Math Morning organized by our awesome Title 1 Team was a huge success! This morning our 4th graders and many family members played The Friendly Factor Game which they also got to take home! The cafeteria was full of laughs, problem solving, fact fluency and smiles! 🤩👏🏼
Our Great Kindness Chalk Wall at 8AM & 2:30PM! I loved watching kids add to it throughout the day & capturing these two students continuing to write on it after the dismissal bell. Today was a great day. 💙 #greatkindnesschallenge#WeAreRSU18
This past week Atwood/Williams incredible Title 1 staff put on an amazing Family BINGO Night! So much joy, fun with numbers, engaging prizes and happy students and families! Thank you so much to all who made this night happen and to those who attended!

Today, 3rd graders learned that a lava lamp works because of 2 different scientific principles-density & polarity. This experiment was part of the properties of matter unit. What an engaging and exciting activity Mrs. Charest prepared for her students. #WESproud18#WeAreRSU18
Miss Quirion & her students’ excitement was off the charts today as she brought science to life with an experiment focused on chemical reactions. Students enjoyed making predictions, conducting an experiment & discussing what they noticed. #WeAreRSU18#WESproud18
Ms. Kinney & her 3rd graders have read many books focused on Kindness. Today, they came up with their own alphabetical list of what kindness means to them. The next step of this project is to write&illustrate a book titled,The ABCs of Kindness! So awesome! #WeAreRSU18#WESproud18
It was chilly outside this morning but it could not have felt more warm and cozy inside our schoolhouse thanks to Miss Cathy baking and filling our hallways with the scent of delicious cinnamon rolls for school breakfast! 🤎#WESProud18#WeAreRSU18

WES had the best 1st day! We loved connecting with our 4th&5th graders & giving our 3rd graders a red carpet welcome. Excited to celebrate all the amazing accomplishments that happen throughout the year for our awesome group of students. It’s going to be a great year. #WeAreRSU18
We are so thankful for the special snack delivery we received from our friends at a Camp Matoaka! What a generous donation to our school. Mr. Clark created snack bags for all of our classrooms & we have additional snacks on hand. #WeAreRSU18#WESproud18
