@KarabakhRecords This fake country with fake name was never called Azerbeijan. It always was a piece of land changed hands between the regional big powers, mainly Iran, Russia and Ottomans. The name was given to it by the Soviets. It is still an 'asset' to serve outside powers.

There only one, and that's in Iran as it has always been. The so called Republic is not, and never been a country. That piece of land is Araan, was given the present name by the Soviets after the revolution.

If there is a fragment it's the so called republic.
During the second world war Soviets briefly occupied the Iranian Azerbeijan, declaring it a Democratic Republic, but were thrown out to never coming back.
