honestly i'm gonna go on a yap session and try to keep this educational / informative but it is important to note that this trade is 1 in a million and the chances of you doing the same are extremely low and you're very likely to lose a lot at first.
but let's study this particular trade and many others who took the same trade, follow their theses, and understand what leads people to buying memecoins and making money.
牛来 is a memecoin about a movie that was made in China of a funny looking bull that was very low quality.
A very early thesis came from trader @Quanterty (Who is up $2M on this coin but from a much larger buy) that said
"There's a movie of a retarded looking bull that has completely flopped in china and it is slowly becoming a meme because of how bad the movie is... Do you see the vision ?"
He said this 2 weeks ago.
Here are a few tweets top traders were linking on their theses to further explain their "conviction"

There is another trader who turned $3,000 into over $1.1M ( @RowdyCrypto ) who was giving a thesis on this coin for weeks as well -
So most of these traders early on were betting on this narrative going even more viral than at the moment they bought.
Every memecoin you buy IS a narrative, you're always betting on something getting more attention which leads to more buyers / more volume.
Sometimes these memecoins have catalyst events which lead to the coin price going higher. A lot of traders were speculating on this coin have been speculating on it getting listed on Binance which is a very big Crypto Exchange and has a lot of Asia users. While this hasn't happened yet, the speculation on it has led the price to continue rising.
A lot of these traders held for weeks through many ups and downs but they stuck to their conviction. They believed in the narrative, and they are currently getting rewarded for it.
There have been over 8,000 theses on this coin.
They do this on a trading platform called fomo, when you sign up you can use my referral code Orangie for 10% off your fees (if you want to, i'm not trying to make this thread a shill lmfao)
but what this version of social trading has done is allow people to express their thoughts on coins publicly, and either be wrong or VERY right. you can go follow different traders, read different theses, on this particular coin Niu Lai, but i want to talk about how would you find the next memecoin to do so.
