What’s common & I’ve witnessed is what she’s done, especially in modern day corporation. Most corporations even built a policy around this to promote candor & communications from staff. We can’t pretend to emulate certain western principles/culture that we consider ideal & then crucify its practitioners bcos it’s deemed locally uncultured. If TOE hadn’t objected, the young lady would not have been spotlighted as this. ToE isn’t wrong to object & the young lady did not do anything wrong with first naming. Only missing link is the apology that should have followed the correction to show she means no disrespect.

Not a fascinating WC final I had hoped. Not a surprising match outcome either. Spain dominated, showed class & astounding tactics with their collective FB. Argentina on the other hand were unorganized, lack team cohesion & were aggressively defensive against Spain’s persistent pressure. @Omojuwa Rigged ? How does a team concede 3 goals in a game it had a 2-goal lead till 79’ ? England was in a similar situation with 1 man down. Some calls may be at the discretion of the ref but conceding 3 goals in a game you were double leading till 79’ is not.

That was an intense R16 game. Mexico appeared more deadly on the attack but England understood good game doesn’t necessarily win a match. Defended its half against Mexico & converted its few scoring chances. That wasn’t an entertainment, rather an experience that got the job done. Kudos to Thomas Tuchel, Jude Bellingham & Harry Kane. It’s been an amazing season for Arsenal. Won the EPL, made it to the UCL final & held the defending champion to a tie that ended with penalty shoot out. An incredible run that portend what’s endlessly possible if the team’s grit, tenacity & discipline can be sustained. If PSG could do this back-to back, then Arsenal can in the next season.
