I really love making music.
It’s where ideas, emotion, and rhythm meet in my mind and body.
Every project reminds me that creativity isn’t just art, it’s practice.
A portal to grow, heal, and connect deeper.
There’s nothing quite like it.
This year asked more of our presence than our performance.
As 2025 closes, what deepened in you and how will that guide how you lead yourself into 2026?
Happy Kwanzaa! Thank you to Mr. Michael B. Jordan for visiting everybody on Sesame Street. It was so special to celebrate Kwanzaa with you! Habari Gani! ❤️
Day 1 of Kwanzaa: Umoja (Unity).
Unity isn’t about being the same. It’s about choosing each other especially when it’s uncomfortable.
I’m reflecting on the Nguzo Saba this week as lived practice.
In what ways are you showing up for unity today?
Purpose hasn’t always arrived as a big revelation. It’s been shaped by returning to myself. When @blackliturgist signed my copy of Black Liturgies, she wrote, “Stay near to yourself.” This way isn’t easier. But it does get me in touch with what makes crystals clear.
Ownership of experience is a moment to moment choice.
I don’t control everything that happens, but I do get to choose how I meet it, what I take from it, and how I move forward.
That choice is where relational growth lives.
Two years of daily commitment.
248,000 pushups.
Every step, it’s been about keeping my word to myself.
Consistency is identity.
Remove emotion from commitment and progress becomes inevitable.
What promise are you willing to keep long enough for it to change you?
This year hasn’t been harder by accident.
I’m playing a longer game.
The infinite game doesn’t reward intensity, it reveals capacity. It exposes where willpower replaces systems and vision outpaces support.
If this is the long game, what requires rebuilding?
Lifelong learning isn’t about more information.
It’s about expanding capacity. The future belongs to those willing to unlearn, adapt, and evolve their thinking.
Not to stay relevant but to stay aligned.
What's your evolution?
20+ hours of content shaped and refined for 2026, and it still feels like the beginning.
This year isn’t asking me to do more, it’s asking me to go deeper. The work has weight, so the workflow (and I) have had to mature.
What standard are you working to?
It's time to raise it up.
Conflict is information.
Most tension isn’t the issue, it’s unmet needs, crossed boundaries, unspoken truths.
Avoided conflict erodes trust. Addressed conflict restores it.
Strong cultures aren’t conflict-free. They are repair-rich.
What honest conversation are you avoiding?
Some days everything feels like it’s spinning. This morning I slowed down: heavier weights, slower reps, full focus. It's more than speed or numbers, just showing up, staying steady, and owning the load.
We win by being steady, not hurried.
Had the honour of meeting some amazing young people ahead of the Amplify Programme, funded by @Warner_Music and delivered with @BGArtsCentre.
Talent opens doors. Character keeps them open. Principles, values & integrity are the foundation of artists who are skilled and human.
Our Winter Market at @WESTYouthZone wasn’t an event. it was evidence.
Young people I’ve backed from Day 1 ran businesses with confidence & professionalism.
9 months in this role.
#Reflection:
The future isn’t coming. They’re HERE building, leading, and proving what’s possible.
Grateful to be in rooms like @TheEmanEffectUK ‘s Financial Freedom Christmas Party.
Great energy, real conversations, and go-getters building with intention.
Real growth comes from honesty, consistency, and higher standards.
Choose your people and the rooms you’re in wisely.
Procrastination can often eclipse the avoidance of joy.
Skipping the gym, delaying soul-fulfilling hobbies, postponing rest… then scrolling or busywork fills the time.
What if procrastination’s reputation was nourishing instead of draining?
Leaning into discomfort, ironically, isn’t comfortable.
Growth hides in our small daily choices. Saying yes to fear, showing up anyway, holding oneself accountable.
These tiny moments shape who we become. What’s one tiny challenge you’ll lean into this week?
Men’s circles have been powerful for me - they provide that sweet mix of connection, honesty, accountability and love.
Spaces where men show up with integrity, breathe, reset, and grow.
Grateful for this brotherhood.
Where are your circles?
An unplanned run reminded me how powerful deep breathing really is.
The moment I settled into my breath, my mind cleared, my body eased, and everything found its rhythm again.
Sometimes the reset we need isn’t big. All it takes is oxygen, presence, and a few conscious breaths.
Exile by Chronixx has been on repeat for weeks.
This one comes like real musical alchemy, like a companion, a guide, a collection of rhythms that resonate deeply.
Some albums arrive quietly.
This one feels like sunrise, and I’m sure I'll still be feeling its warmth years later.
