Chandigarh Administration today sealed a restaurant owned by rapper-singer Badshah in Sector 26 over major unauthorized constructions.

According to the Estate Office large-scale violations were found on the ground floor and second floor, including unauthorized cabins and partitions, construction of toilets and kitchens, a cold storage area, covering open courtyards with MS structures and fiber sheets, alterations to the sanctioned building plan, tin sheds, storage areas, and changes in the rear elevation.

Officials said a show cause notice had already been issued on April 25 2024, but the illegal constructions were neither removed nor regularized despite repeated opportunities.

Do they not know what inert means or are they lying?

In any other country this would be classes as toxic waste.

In india they spread it on farms and make parks with it

No doubt dumping stopped but remediation still not complete. Leachete still visible. Complete remediation first , plantation later.

As many as 31 applications were pending with @MC_Panchkula only on 25.11.2025 but when compensation awarded for the first time on 11.04.2026 only three names showing . What is the fate of the other applicants.
