Professor Solwayo Ngwenya. After years and years of hard work, focus, dedication, determination and valor, this one achievement that I will greatly and proudly value.
Thank you @elonmusk's for inventing @Starlink. We can now have fast & reliable internet access during our urban- rural rebuilding efforts. We can see even telemedicine spreading into rural areas helping to reduce maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.
@koko_matshela@elonmusk@Starlink It's excellent, it's a huge strategic game-changer. It will help in rural development, in telemedicine, in improving maternal and neonatal health etc.
@bla_bidza@elonmusk@Starlink Thought that @Starlink is lightning protected, if not we will remove it during the rain season, put it on a rock. We asked the technician about that, so it entered our thick mind.
Great handshake, great royalty, great culture. Prince Vanana Zulu from Zululand (KZN) congratulating the herdboy/professor. Our great Chief Dakamela gesticulating excitedly. What a wonderful way to be HONOURED!!! We are ever so grateful, CHIEF DAKAMELA.
Chief Dakamela of Nkayi, thank you for the recognition. Our culture can only be practised and understood by us alone. It's great to be honoured in 2 straight years. Your work is commendable, and you always find the usually unrecognisable. Your gigantic blessings shall come.
@Sophie_Mokoena @KirstyCoventry Truly remarkable and inspiring vibes. Congratulations to Honourable Kirsty Conventry and all our women in Africa and beyond. Best wishes.
@MJairosi Basically, the war was fought by the fighters and the people who were alive at that time(>7 years). We provided food, shelter, labour, entertainment, morale, and intelligence. Personally, I feel that our efforts, roles, and sacrifices have not been fully appreciated and rewarded.
@DavidColtart@CityofBulawayo Vele Senator, historically, dams fill up around March. So let's be patient and continue praying for more rains and rain making until the dams start spilling. This should be our year of plentiful rains.
Lockdowns worked for us. Next, lockdowns will be harder to enforce as the populations will be agitated and unbelieving of the new viral threats. Times ahead will be full of difficult times.
🇸🇪Sweden's decision not to enforce a mandatory lockdown was linked to higher mortality rates. A modeling study estimated that infection rates could have been reduced by 75% and mortality by 25% with stricter measures.

@Sophie_Mokoena Good morning, Sophie. Thank you for greeting us almost every day. You truly love us, especially in our beloved Africa. And to do it with such commitment shows your deep sense of African brotherhood/sisterhood. Best wishes for the year. Keep safe from the oncoming viruses.
While herding cattle, we came across this mushroom. We thought of the terrible effects of mushroom poisoning during the rainy season. We urge the public not to consume mushrooms brought home by inexperienced herdboys or being sold by the roadside. They can kill whole families.
@nickmangwana Africans should be proud of their culture, which they have practised from creation. Talking to your dead relatives is normal. (By the way, no one dies in African culture. They become an ancestor). A father will remain a father, so talking to them is wonderful.
