@JohnDiLillo Games over her living in the year 3000: „frames come when they come, keep up VFR. 144Hz is cool and all, but have you tried 240Hz?“
Movies living in 1983: „What if: More than 24fps?“ (everybody dies from InNoVAtIoN)
@stephentotilo My uncle works for Nintendo and he says it’s no biggie: just buy three switches and three copies of the game and three subscription and be done with it 👍🏻 you are welcome, don’t mention it! 😊
@Aphex60732294 @GamesBeat I think it’s obvious the OLED Switch should have updated the internals (Switch Pro) but couldn’t due to circumstances. The contracts for OLED displays and manufacturing were executed nonetheless. Comparable scenarios are possible for PS5/Xbox „Pro“ refreshes (wanted or not).
@superbunnyhop This is an interesting part of the Games as Art debate. Since games are multi-media by default each part rests on another to be and stay relevant. Maybe Games are more comparable to performance art than books, which can stay relevant no matter the technical developments.
@xIngenue I’ve read DaVinci Code back in the day and remembered some crap about Λ and V for male/female dichotomy which corresponds to Merika‘s stance. According to Dan Brown (😅) the symbols are derived from vessel for life and sword for death? Merika = Life, Radagon = Death, Together = ?
@CaseyNewton His company SpaceX works for government and especially military contracts. There is no way he hasn’t extensive background checks run all the time.
Else: If he actually refused was that photo with Ghislaine no accident?
@MaximumADHD According to their latest 10-K “Infrastructure trust and safety” is their second lowest expense. It includes depreciation of equipment and some random bullshit under “trust and safety”. Possibly their lowest operating expense overall. This ain’t it fam.
