The war in Sudan has caused the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
Millions are in turmoil.
Innocent civilians are in desperate fear for their safety.
I'm bringing together the international community to end the violence and improve humanitarian access.
💔 It’s heartbreaking beyond words. The Russians abandoned an elderly, paralyzed woman—left her alone to die, deprived of food and water for days. A Ukrainian soldier found her, not only giving her food and water, but also promising that his comrades would soon take her to the hospital.
It made me so so sad. Even after witnessing the horrors of Bucha and Irpin, after seeing what the russians have done to our women, children, and elderly, it’s still unbelievable and unbearable to see such videos and realize that there are people capable of this cruelty.
I can’t even imagine leaving my granny behind and running away, no matter the danger. I would stand firm until the enemy shot me in the chest if it were necessary to protect her. Since the war began, I’ve stayed with her, making sure she’s safe. Some of you might remember the story I shared—how, at the start of the invasion, I went out to look for bread after we hadn’t had any for a week, and how joyful she was when I brought it back.
In the midst of all this grief and suffering, I am so proud of the Ukrainian people. We remain human. We remember the values we’re fighting for—not just our land, but the goodness that runs in our veins, in our blood, in our DNA. This is what makes us strong. This is what makes us Ukrainian.
Not sure what gets me more here: the lady selling garden flowers by phone light, the dad getting a bouquet for his little girl, or her wishing them a quiet night—no Russian missiles.

Russia’s 155th marines (who were famously destroyed by Ukraine’s military at Moschun and Vuhledar earlier in this war) are now demonstrating a severed head of a Ukrainian soldier and issuing threats at the Kolotilovka border crossing point, likely around August 12 (per @Deepstate_UA).
Yet another egregious war crime and another guaranteed failure at trying to undermine the Ukrainian morale.
