@SJTurner_Books Hey, I’m Some Boss named Patrick. I am writing a novel on my own and am almost finished with the first draft. It’s literature. I’ve written poetry and prose for a decade or so and might publish some of it.
The @Polygon website has been so difficult to navigate for years without feeling an epileptic fit coming on. I feel like that level of pop-up ads and refreshing webpages out of nowhere needs to be illegal. It’s literally painful to go on the internet.
My yearly fantasy rant: if a player draws a flag, the points should be given to those players since they gained yards. No point for a reception, but otherwise, it seems like every game is scored incorrectly #FantasyFootball@NFL#changethegame
@SmartLess@graydoncarter@SeanHayes@arnettwill@SIRIUSXM Listening to this now and felt obligated to mention that listening to a book while reading is actually the way to retain the most information. A study I saw said 10% of what you read, 20% of what you hear and 50% when you do both at the same time. Big boost! Not a crutch 😅
Flies are either getting slower, or my hands are getting quicker. I’ve swatted several over the past few years, and I thought you couldn’t do that? #karate
@Cubs@WatchMarquee can we revise the Cubs’ win song? Saying the Cubs are gonna win after the Cubs have won has bugged me from the beginning 😂 it’s funny though singing about predicting something that already happened #GoCubsGo
Why so much media for the celebs who lost their (insured) homes while 11,000 policies were cancelled by #StateFarm alone? This is probably the kiss of death for my account, but all I can do is call out unfair media influence and corruption when you see it.
When you realize you’re supposedly one of the higher IQs on the planet, it feels nice but weird.
Equal parts, “Are you sure ‘bout that?” and “Why is it so hard for other people to see?” with a remainder of, “Where’s the respect? I tell ya.”
The @ffootballerss struck again. Changed Lamar for Herbert and a Charger lineup for my DFS after hearing how far the Chargers are going and how they would tear up the Texans today. You guys sound great, but I never seem to follow good advice from ya.
As a lifelong basketball fan and player for over 35 years, why would anybody, for the life of them, want to watch a league where 20 of 30 teams get into the playoffs after months of playing each other? #NBA you used to be cool, but now you’re just sad.
