Well I remember it all very well looking back, it was the summer @manders0703 turned 18. She lived in a one-room run-down shack on the outskirts of New Orleans.
Now in this world, there's a lotta self-righteous hypocrats that call her bad. [baaaaad] They criticize mama for turnin' @manders0703 out, no matter how little they had.
.@manders0703 CHARMED a king, a congressman, and the occasional aristoCRAT. Then she got her a Georgia mansion and an elegant New York townhouse flat, and she ain't done bad. [she ain't done baaaaad]
It wasn't long after, a benevolent man took-a @manders0703 in off the streets. One week-a later, she was pourin' his tea in a five-room hotel suite. [Yes she waaas]
She couldn't see spending the rest of her life with her head hung down in shame, "You know I mighta been born just plain white trash, but @manders0703 was-a my name!"
But the WHEEEELS of fate had started to TURN, and for @manders0703 there was no way out. Wasn't very long 'til she knew exactly what her Mama been talkin' about.
Well that was the last time she saw her mama - when she left that rickety shack. The welfare people came and took the baby, mama died, and @manders0703 ain't been back.
