I guess in hindsight it was a good idea to continue to sell my $QCOM position. It seems that no performance is good enough for this market. Glad I reduced my position from 32% to 7% over the last two weeks.
Almost out of my AI trade altogether. Sold more $QCOM and bought a little bit more $TMDX. I am also going to hold a bit of cash going forward. Currently at 7% cash.
The SEC asked the public what it thought about its proposal to no longer require public companies to report quarterly financial results. More than 200,000 comments—overwhelmingly negative—rolled in. https://t.co/3G441Hruek
trading in this market can be very dangerous. If we had a more normal president I am doubtful that they would step in to support the market in any meaningful way. But because the guy has such a vested financial interest in the success of various public companies it might be unwise to continue to try and trade against it. This time actually is different.
I dumped my $TRT position for a massive loss. I picked up a 12% position in $DG and upped my $TLT to 6%. Still thinking the rotation out of semis is going to stick.
I think the hedging is going moderately well. Still down a bit but seeing $PENG $TE and $NOK being down dramatically the last few days compared to my new positions in $XLP $TMDX and $TTWO being mostly flat is really good.
decided to reduce my stake in $QCOM to 16% and start a new 9% position in $S. Hoping to catch more of the cyber runup. I am a little late but should be able to get a bit more.
