Revolutionizing the next wave of aviation AI technology with @NVIDIA.
Future Archer aircraft are planned to integrate NVIDIA IGX Thor, a safety-capable AI computing module that’s designed to support advanced perception, decision-making, and predictive aviation operations.
We plan to test these physical AI systems at our newly acquired Hawthorne Airport to support our proposed LA air taxi network with next-generation AI technology.
Accelerating Air Taxi Adoption in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Saudi Arabia’s @ksagaca has announced plans to work with us to create a regulatory pathway for eVTOL commercialization in the Kingdom. They will be adopting an acceptance program that mirrors the FAA and DOT’s eVTOL Implementation Pilot Program to establish early operations across the country.
We plan to work in conjunction with the GACA to conduct pre-certification flights, designed to validate regulatory approaches and support type-certification progress on the path of acceptance for electric air taxi services. This approach aims to enable early route testing and service introduction in Riyadh, Jeddah and key giga-projects such as Red Sea Global and NEOM.
This agreement with GACA builds on Archer’s growing presence in the Kingdom, following our recently announced partnership with The Helicopter Company and Red Sea Global to establish one of the world’s first eVTOL testing and implementation hubs in Saudi Arabia.
Hawthorne Airport built the future once. It's about to do it again.
Our acquisition announced yesterday firmly plants the Archer flag in the heart of L.A., with plans for it to serve as our operational hub for our LA air taxi network. It is strategically located less than three miles from LAX, and is the closest airport to some of the city’s biggest attractions — SoFi Stadium, The Forum, Intuit Dome, and Downtown L.A. The airport will also act as a test bed for the AI-powered aviation technologies we’re developing and plan to deploy with our airline and technology partners.
The historic Hawthorne Airport was built in the 1920s to attract Jack Northrup to build his company here. That led to Hawthorne Airport becoming a vital military asset used by the U.S. Army during WWII for manufacturing and modifying aircraft like the P-61 Black Widow.
Today, we’re sharing our Q3’25 results. This has been a momentous quarter at Archer; here are some of the highlights:
ACQUISITION OF LOS ANGELES AIRPORT AS STRATEGIC AIR TAXI NETWORK HUB AND AI TESTBED
Signed definitive agreements to acquire control of one-of-a-kind aviation asset in L.A., Hawthorne Airport, for $126M in cash. The airport is located in the heart of the city, less than three miles from LAX, and the closest airport to some of the city’s biggest destinations — SoFi Stadium, The Forum, Intuit Dome, and Downtown L.A.. We plan for the airport to serve as the operational hub for our planned L.A. air taxi network and as a testbed for the AI-powered aviation technologies we are developing and plan to deploy with our airline and technology partners.
MIDNIGHT ACHIEVES RECORD FLIGHT MILESTONES TOWARD CERTIFICATION
We’ve recently showcased several key performance milestones with our Midnight aircraft— including flights surpassing 50 miles in range and 10,000 feet of altitude. Additionally, Midnight flew demonstration flights on both days of the California International Airshow allowing tens of thousands of spectators to experience how quiet the aircraft is in flight.
LILIUM PATENT PORTFOLIO ACQUISITION
Closed acquisition of Lilium’s portfolio for $21M, giving Archer access to key next-generation technology in ducted fans, high-voltage systems, flight controls, electric engines, and propellers. This acquisition expands Archer’s global portfolio to over 1,000 assets, giving it one of the strongest portfolios in the industry.
UAE COMMERCIAL DEPLOYMENT UNDERWAY & STRONG DEMAND ACROSS APAC
In the UAE, we delivered and began flying Midnight in Abu Dhabi over the summer alongside our partner, Abu Dhabi Aviation. Following the commencement of our in-country flight testing, in October, we hosted the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority at our HQ to continue to rapidly advance our UAE regulatory pathway. Across Asia, we strengthened our international reach through marquee partnership announcements with Korean Air, as well as Japan Airlines’ and Sumitomo’s joint venture, Soracle, in Tokyo & Osaka.
In addition to these key milestones, we raised $650M of new equity capital, reinforcing our sector-leading balance sheet taking our total liquidity to over $2B now.
Archer x Tokyo 🇯🇵
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has selected the Japan Airlines @JAL_Official_jp, Sumitomo Corporation and Soracle @SCL_official_jp consortium to participate in phase one of the city’s “eVTOL Implementation Project,” using our Midnight aircraft in the process. The selection gives us and our consortium partners a critical opportunity to help make the promise of urban mobility an everyday reality in Tokyo, the world’s most populated city.

Highlights from last week’s @NBAA conference in Las Vegas. From a panel with Archer CEO Adam Goldstein + Game Aerospace founder Steuart Walton, to Midnight’s center-stage exhibit, to our own Lilium patent acquisition announcement, the week was one for the books. Thanks to everyone who was able to stop by our booth!
Archer x @KoreanAir_KE 🇰🇷
We're proud to announce that Korean Air has selected Archer as its exclusive partner to introduce eVTOL aircraft in Korea with Midnight - including a potential purchase of up to 100 Midnight aircraft.
This collaboration positions Korea to be a leader in AAM and aims to lay the foundation for the broad adoption of Archer’s aircraft nationwide. We look forward to partnering with Korean Air!
Advancing Midnight in the UAE 🇦🇪
Last week, we welcomed the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority @gcaauae to Archer’s U.S. HQ as we continue to work through Midnight’s regulatory pathway in the UAE. The GCAA’s certification approach is focused on targeted activities to confirm the readiness of our Midnight aircraft to begin passenger services with our partners in the Emirates.
As part of this collaborative effort, we’re also proud to highlight the induction and introduction of GCAA Initial Airworthiness Qualified Entity within the Archer project—an important step that supports the certification efforts and reinforces our shared commitment to safety and regulatory excellence.
We want to thank the GCAA for their continued effort towards our collective goal of safely launching air taxi services in Abu Dhabi as soon as possible.
We’ve acquired Lilium’s patent portfolio, which includes ~300 patents. This portfolio covers innovations in eVTOL technology including ducted fans, propeller systems, high-voltage systems, battery management, aircraft design, flight controls, and electric engines. We believe Lilium’s ducted fan technology could unlock future development in both the light-sport and regional air mobility sectors.
The acquisition strengthens our industry leadership in electric aviation innovation, which now includes over 1,000 patents globally, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring the U.S. leads the way in critical eVTOL technology.
