Jayden Adams, futbolista de la selección de Sudáfrica 🇿🇦 y del Mamelodi Sundowns, murió a los 25 años.

Hace apenas dos semanas había perdido a su abuela. Hace 13 días estaba jugando un Mundial con su país y venía de ser una de las figuras del Mamelodi Sundowns en el Mundial de Clubes.

Aunque la causa de su muerte aún no ha sido confirmada oficialmente, las sospechas apuntan a una posible depresión y a que pudo haberse quitado la vida.

Hace 13 días lo vimos correr detrás de un balón, defender los colores de su país y cumplir el sueño de millones. Hoy ya no está. Nunca sabemos qué batalla está librando una persona detrás de una sonrisa, del éxito o de un momento de gloria.

La salud mental es una de las grandes crisis de nuestro tiempo y, aun así, seguimos sin darle la importancia que merece.
