Byona mubyogere, but there are dozens of young people in jail for upto 3 years now simply because of their political beliefs. Their trial has not commenced because the state is still looking for evidence against them on trumped up charges.

Recently, charges were dropped in favour of Kayihura, and several other convicts in corruption scandals were also pardoned.

On the one hand you're releasing convicts, and on the other you continue to detain innocent people whom you have no evidence against. These things annoy people, the detained citizens have families and loved ones too!
