Your pulldown PR doesn’t matter.
Your squat PR doesn’t matter.
Your bullpen velo doesn’t matter.
Your trackman #’s don’t matter.
What matters is what you do with the ball when the lights come on & the game is on the line.
Everything else is secondary.
Performance is the goal.
Hitting is complicated. If you ever get confused, just remember to:
1️⃣ Swing fast
2️⃣ Hit the ball over 98mph and above 8° a lot (harder the better)
3️⃣ Not strikeout
Check these boxes and chances are you’ll be pretty freaking good.
Wasn’t sure if this day was ever going to come, but I know it wouldn’t have had I had to go at it alone. Thank you to everyone who supported my family and I. I am officially cancer free and off treatment, and I am just so grateful. God is great!

A velo based bullpen, thrown outside and on dirt, in the PM, with little to no fatigue, may be SIGNIFICANTLY different than an indoor pitch design bullpen thrown in the AM the day after a total body lift.
Helping athletes recognize context minimizes pre-season freak-outs.

@joesmithmtg In some people that allows them to use their hips better. Staying open with that foot allows for drive using the glute muscles and delays rotation. This kid is incredible when it comes to moving down the mound.
@TreadAthletics I had bone spur removal and didn’t tear my UCL after.
Did not notice limited ROM until after starting throwing weighted balls. Trainers at school refused to take X-ray, or MRI. I had to play my whole senior season of college with the elbow ROM of a T-Rex. 🦖
