My mom asked to list items to be purchased. Go to see, just 2 items it were. I was like who does listing for 2 items? She said, she doesn't trust my memory and this itself was so honestly insulting and at the same time funny to me๐

5) Trust your gut but temper it with logic. Deep down, you know what you are really good at. Now is the time to place your trust in yourself. You will face resistance but that's ok. If you won't trust yourself, who else will.
4) Don't rely only on the advice of your teachers/parents. Teachers often spend their lives in a bubble; cutoff from the real world; and parents may burden you with their expectations. Talk to people you consider 'successful', doing the kind of work you would want to do.
2) One man's wealth is another man's waste. Just because someone else has been successful in a career doesn't mean that you necessarily will (or for that matter, won't). What you need to focus on is mapping your interests to find a path that you will excel on.
1) Not everything that has 'scope' today will do so tomorrow. When the shimmer of a particular career fades, you will have to find an anchor within you to continue on that path despite slow markets, lack of opportunities, and the 'shimmering' of other options.
With FY undergraduate admissions currently on, applicants are understandably anxious about which stream of study to choose. This is when parental/societal pressure is at its peak for one to choose a field that has 'scope'. Here are some things to consider when making this choice
I am honestly surprised to see how children below 15 years are active during their online classes. It's such a vibe, man. I mean, their confidence level to turn microphones, videos ON and their super-quick responses to teachers, like real quick, has all of my heart โค

My mother strongly believes that, if one sleeps early, will wake up early the next day, eventually. I am like, noooooo! What even?
Please tell her that, it doesn't at all work like that. People can't wake up early unless they have any responsibilities to perform๐

Once upon a time in history, our parents used to wish us "good luck" as a mandatory thing before examinations but today surprisingly no good luck wishes and you very well know the reason why!
Read that again.
