Corinth was one of the most important Greek City States; it was a wealthy and a thriving city. If there was a comparison to a present day city, that would be Las Vegas. The city had two sea ports; on the Corinthian sea and the Argosaronic sea, making it an important and powerful trading destination. People from all over the Mediterranean world converged in Corinth.

With the kind of money in circulation, Corinth was the sin city of the ancient times. People were engaged in all manner of indulgencies, gambling, sex etc, and were more stubborn than Nairobians 😅. The religious background of Corinth was a mix of Greek, Roman, and Oriental. The teachings of Christianity which was a new religion went against the grain of everything these people knew of a belief system.

The church in Corinth also had various struggles such as divisions, false teachings and immorality. It was for this reason that Apostle Paul wrote them two letters in order to strengthen the converts who struggled with reverting to their past belief, and to help them with their questions and problems.

The apostle spent a year and a half in Corinth and many people believed in Jesus because of his preaching. Amidst many challenges Paul a Roman citizen also preached in other parts of Greece. He was the apostle called to the gentiles, and he faithfully carried out this mission until his death. It is believed he was beheaded in Rome.

If Paul was writing to Kenyans today, how do you think he would address us?

Having a vibrant opposition is not the same as causing mayhem or a civil war. Kenyans want to see vibrant debates in parliament, on TV and in town halls. They don’t want to see floods of blood on the streets. If you must protest, do so peacefully while unarmed. That’s what the constitution allows.

Vibrant debates help formulate public policy and transformative programs. Civil war causes death and destruction.

The Githeri Media should stop the hysteria and trying to draw a moral equivalence between conman @RailaOdinga, despot Uhuru Kenyatta and their supporters on the one hand, and President @WilliamsRuto and Kenya Kwanza on the other.

The protests and mayhem have been brought about by the conman, the despot and their power hungry hypocritical acolytes.

There was no crisis in Kenya before they called for mass action because they had lost an election.

We must not allow the loss of an election by anyone to be transformed into a national crisis. It is not.

Presently, the cost of living is high in every country in the world. The price of fuel and corn flour is higher than they are in Kenya in many other parts of the world, including in Nigeria, South Africa, Europe and North America.

Yes, the government must do everything to alleviate the cost of living. However, that cannot and will be done if civil war breaks out.

We cannot allow conman @RailaOdinga and despot Uhuru Kenyatta to cause civil war in Kenya as a mechanism of overthrowing the duly elected Kenya Kwanza government.

Therefore, I support the imposition of limited LEGAL RESTRICTIONS on conman @RailaOdinga and despot Uhuru Kenyatta to prevent them from causing more harm and destruction which will make life unbearable for 50 million Kenyans.

But I strongly oppose death threats, arbitrary arrests, unlawful detentions, and violations of basic human rights of 50 million Kenyans.

Single out despot Uhuru Kenyatta and conman @RailaOdinga. They are not above the law!
