A boy said he went to Kalyan railway station in Maharashtra to drop his family off for their train. The train was originally scheduled to leave at 12 noon, but later they were told it would arrive at 2 PM.
He had bought a platform ticket and waited with his family. However, the train kept getting delayed. Around 5 PM, when he was helping his family board the train and was about to leave, a TTE stopped him and asked for his platform ticket.
He showed the ticket, but the TTE told him that a platform ticket is valid only for 2 hours. Since more than 2 hours had passed, he was fined ₹500.
The boy then raised a simple question: if the train was delayed for several hours because of the railway, why should the passenger be held responsible for staying at the station?
He had purchased a valid platform ticket and was only there to drop his family.
If the delay was caused by the railway, shouldn’t there be some consideration for passengers and their families who are forced to wait longer?
It raises a genuine question about whether passengers should be fined when they remain at the station because of a railway delay.

What’s wrong with our country?
Almost every leader talks about 2047 as the deadline for development.
But who is accountable for what should happen today, this year or in the next 5 years?
2047 should be a vision, not an excuse to avoid accountability today.
@HeathrowAirport what's happening? We've been waiting in the plane for more than a hour! We were re-routed to Paris on 8th September due to operational issues...gotta fix this!

If you do not have home, school and offc within 5 km radius in Bengaluru, you can enjoy hell in this birth itself. This when the roads are good. Otherwise even 2 km cans be eternally painful.
Since when did one man’s birthday become a govt event?
IAS officers doing arrangements, state machinery at work, 30,000 people being gathered.
Who’s paying for this celebration, the birthday boy or the taxpayer?
It’s a birthday, not a national festival.
