Soweto residents are marching to Joburg Mayor Dada Morero's office today to hand over their CVs. They say Morero's proposal to employ foreign nationals as traffic officers shows that there are job openings at the Johannesburg Metro Police Department. Morero, who has since apologised for the proposal, came under fire for the suggestion he made over the weekend. @NqobileMadlala_ speaks to some of the residents.

The Indian Sports Ministry sent 40 ACs for the Indian athletes in Paris, while the organizers were not able to arrange ACs for all the players in the name of Green Olympics. The temperature in Paris has reached 40 degrees Celsius. PM Modi's initiative shows his sensitivity towards the facilities of the athletes.
