In the madness of pregnancy — the joys, the worries, the anticipation, the excitement — anxiety about stepping away from work is not something I have heard discussed much among expectant mothers.
Our 3 cross country teams competed in a schools cluster event @DeltaGreenLane this evening. All our runners were fantastic, showing great stamina and determination to complete the course. It was also lovely to see great team spirit on show. Well done everyone! @LeedsActiveSchs

We don’t always need to problem solve when someone comes to us with their suffering. Acknowledging what they’re going through, with empathy, non-judgment and reassurance, is often enough.
Love is unity and peace. It brings us together, despite our differences. It creates space for compassion and understanding. It brings forth solutions that serve humanity. It heals, uplifts and energizes. It’s one of the few things that we know we are doing right.
Choose love.
Please do not give up on yourself. No matter how many denials, rejections, or failed attempts. Your inner calling must ring high above the noise of the world and its opinions.
There is power in silence and stillness. When the environment seems to move too fast, and people’s opinions become too loud, and your thoughts are running riot…sink into your body, sit still, and let peaceful silence drown out the noise.
