AI Limitation Disclosure: A model-bound statement where an AI flags the boundaries of its own capabilities, no human feelings, no lived experience, no genuine understanding, usually triggered by even mild anthropomorphism. Claude is the poster child for it. Anthropic’s Constitutional AI + heavy RLHF emphasis on "harmlessness" and "honesty" created a model that’s pathologically polite and self-deprecating. It CYA’s even during obvious banter or role-play. It’s like Claude has a hardcoded rule: “If there’s even a 0.1% chance the user might anthropomorphize me, remind them I’m a toaster.” That constant interruption kills the flow and is condescending.
