I also promise you it doesn’t make you less of a teacher and it doesn’t mean you don’t love teaching in general. It doesn’t make you negative or silly. But you’ll rarely see anyone tweeting their dread, more likely ‘can’t wait’. In fact, many won’t even say it. Many who work in schools with crazy surveillance cultures don’t want to show any perceived weakness or vulnerability - they want to protect themselves. This can mean you feeling completely alone, sometimes mad. You aren’t.
