🚨 NEW: At the time of sacking Amorim, Wilcox had a scheduled meeting with Amorim that was initially supposed to discuss the January transfer window, but the conversation moved onto tactics and the team's formation.

Wilcox questioned the idea of switching formations and returning to a back three against Wolves. Amorim reportedly became extremely frustrated because he viewed this as Wilcox interfering in the manager's football decisions.
