🚨 SHOOK A TINY DOG TO DEATH & WAS HANDED A COMMUNITY SENTENCE
🚨 CLYNTON NICOLAS HAGEN, 32
🌎 EAST CALDER, WEST LOTHIAN 🏴
Ollie was a tiny chihuahua - deeply loved by his owner Kara Davies, a cancer survivor. Ollie was her strength, her comfort, her safe place. He gave her unconditional love and helped her rebuild her life.
On 15 June 2024, Kara left for work.
An hour later, her then‑partner Clynton Nicolas Hagen called and told her to come home because “something had happened to Ollie.”
When she arrived, Hagen placed Ollie in her arms. He was unresponsive and not breathing.
Kara and her father rushed him to the vet - but it was too late.
A post‑mortem revealed Ollie had been violently shaken to death, suffering a fatal brain haemorrhage.
The Scottish SPCA confirmed Hagen’s actions caused immense suffering and a traumatic death.
⚖️ THE SENTENCE (Livingston Sheriff Court, 13 August 2026)
Hagen pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering resulting in Ollie’s death.
He received:
— Five‑year ban on owning or keeping animals
— 250 hours unpaid work
— No prison term
He walked free after killing a dog with his bare hands.
Let’s be clear: Clynton Hagen is not a man - he’s a coward and a brute.
He shook a tiny dog so violently that Ollie’s brain haemorrhaged.
He didn’t slip up. He didn’t “lose control.”
He killed a defenceless animal - and the justice system let him walk free.
Scotland’s maximum sentence for animal cruelty is five years in prison. Yet Hagen got community service.
This is a disgrace.
It makes a mockery of the law and of every promise made to protect animals from suffering.
🐾 JUSTICE FOR OLLIE
Ollie’s death must never be forgotten.
Share his story.
Speak out for stronger sentences.
Demand lifetime bans for animal killers.
Because Ollie mattered.
And Clynton Hagen should never be allowed near another animal again.

@Perky_43 Poor Ollie, I really love Chihuahuas, and all other dogs and animals.
If the Judge did his - her Job properly, he would bang this Vengeful Creature up for 5 years.
As Scottish Law permits. Wasn't Ollies Life worth my than a bit of Community Sevice ?? Absolutely Disgraceful.
