I gave away something on my local Buy Nothing group almost every day in December. I was able to get rid of stuff I no longer wanted or needed — most of which were items that places like Goodwill won’t take. (No food, though).
@dave__whiteside I wish we had hired a doula, specifically someone to support me and husband through a process we had never been through. Doctors and nurses were supportive, but more focused on the health of the baby.

I remember this tornado well from my high school days. The tornado formed basically over the airport/radar, so it wasn’t well warned, plus it occurred when many were sleeping. That Kmart had a late sale, so it had just emptied out not long before it was flattened.
34 years ago, on November 28th, 1988, in the early morning hours, a deadly EF 4 Tornado touched down over North @RaleighGov with winds between 150-190MPH. The Tornado touched down near Umstead State Park and Ebenezer Church Road; it flattened the Kmart 1/2 #ncwx
