On the other, it shows you how little twitch actually wants you’re to progress if you’re a cozy second monitor streamer.
I also know those numbers can be wrong. But like based on them I could be making a partner push but atm I’ll have like 35 people ACTIVE in chat

Talking and doing redeems but twitch says only 20 some odd are there. (Did a check once this isn’t a number. The enhancer number was like 85 too after a raid)

I get we need to fight view bots. But this hasn’t solved that issue. All it’s done is hurt smaller channels

Replied but accidentally deleted it oof. When having friends doesn’t help the system has failed. Your friends and fans lurking not counting but someone running 50 bots does it’s really sad. This has to change, I would love the concurrent viewership to reflect reality not some “balancing feature” stuff like that hurts small streamers more than anybody. I don’t get it either cuz corpo shit ad companies would be fine with the numbers regardless.

Honestly. I don’t know if it’s better or worse for your mental health on twitch to run a plugin like Enhancer that shows you your lurker count. Like on one hand it can let you see how much extra growth you have and where you’re at like for discoverability

And it hasn’t even fought the bots. I know some channels (I lost a lot of respect for them) I follow are botting and getting growth off it because the bots bring counted but real viewers aren’t. Whole situation is fucked.
