My trading journey reveals the good, bad, and ugly aspects of being a beginner. Started Nov 2023. Learning a skill takes time and dedication. Never give up! NFA
@Konrad__Adam Makes sense. That’s a great trading day!
I used to risked more. That was dangerous for me with a 50k while I’m still in the learning stage.
TPT Funded Account: $614.50
$MES - Asia & NY
Day 33: 50k Account Balance $1,798.25
Risk limit: $70/trade
Decided to trade Asia for a move up to the daily gap and then short into the lows during NY
🔴 Trade 1: LOSS (Short): Was looking for a little deeper pull back to long, but got round tripped for a small loss.
🟢 Trade 2: WIN (Long): Retested lows. 3m CISD with 3m FVG. Closed early because I needed to go to sleep and didn't want to manage the trade.
🔵 Trade 3: BE (Long): Woke up. Trade idea still in place. Closed BE before NY open.
🟢 Trade 4: WIN (Long): 3m MSS with target at 25% of daily gap. NQ was uncorrelated, but saw that as a false move as it had relative equal highs and ES didn't test the daily gap.
🟢 Trade 5: WIN (Short): Rejection from daily gap. 3m IFVG and 3m SIBI. Entry with target short of the lows.
@Gigifuture It takes time. Just risk small size when you're first starting out. I like to only risk about 3.5% or my drawdown. That means I can be wrong 30 times before I blow my account.
You'll get there! I wish you the best!
