According to Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia

Thai military, in cooperation with Thai authorities, has instructed its remaining civilians in the border area of Surin Province to evacuate by tonight.
The same sources also confirmed that the Thai military plans to launch attacks along the border starting from the Tamone Thom Temple, Ta Krabey Temple, Preah Vihear Temple, up to the Anseh area. These attacks are expected to commence soon, prior to the scheduled meeting of the Extraordinary Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on 7 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to inform the general public and the international community that, according to received information at 10:49 a.m. on 3 August 2025, the Thai military, in cooperation with Thai authorities, has instructed its remaining civilians in the border area of Surin Province to evacuate by tonight.
