یاسر هویدا هنرمند و ورزشکار جوان افغان است که در مسیر زندگی‌اش پستی و بلندی‌های زیادی را تجربه کرده است. او سختی کشیده و زجر دیده؛ اما نا امید نشده و با هدف رشد در زندگی، تلاش کرده تا به سمت افق‌های روشن حرکت کند. او به تنهایی می‌تواند نمونه‌ای از زندگی یک جوان افغان باشد.
یاسر زمانی که کودک هفت ساله بود، پدرش را از دست داد و افق‌های زندگی‌اش تیره و تار شد؛ اما او دست از تلاش بر نداشت، با وجودی که مجبور شد، به عنوان یک کودک کار، در کوچه و خیابان برای گذران زندگی و کمک به چرخش چرخ زندگی تلاش کند؛ اما دست از درس و تعلیم هم بر نداشت.
او با عزم و اراده‌ی آهنین با همه‌ی مشکلات زندگی جنگید، وارد مکتب شد و با وجودی که نصف روز کار می‌کرد، به عنوان اول‌نمره، مکتب را تمام کرد، وارد دانشگاه کابل شد و کمپیوتر ساینس خواند.
او از یک کودک کار به هنرمند و ورزشکار بدل شد. تحصیلاتش را نیز ادامه داد و توانست به تیم ملی جمناستیک افغانستان راه یابد. او در ادامه‌ی راه، به مربی در ورزش و هنر بدل شد و با سقوط نظام جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان، به پاکستان آمد.
یاسر هویدا آرزوهای بزرگی در ادامه راه و زندگی‌اش دارد و در این راستا تلاش می‌کند.

A ten-year-old Hazara child was shot by the Taliban just because he participated in a religious event in his neighborhood in Qala Shahada, Ghazni, Afghanistan.

This is how brutal the Taliban are toward children today. The next day, they will call this little innocent child a rebel. The Taliban must be held accountable for this horrible crime.

Justice for Hazara children.

The international humanitarian aids in Afghanistan is misused by the Taliban to empower this terrorist group and its allies instead of being distributed fairly among people in Afghanistan. People, starving in poverty, do not have access to the humanitarian aids. So what is the point?
We appeal to the UN to make sure that these aids are distributed fairly among all people in Afghanistan NOT only the Taliban’s soldiers.

Do NOT engage with the Taliban. The UN and the international community must ban the Taliban instead of hoping for them to change while they are raping woman protesters in their prisons, kill students and children, and confiscating people’s lands illegally. Why and what are you going to discuss with the Taliban? 5,700,000 refugee from Afghanistan, having no home, are the result of engaging with the Taliban.
