Hoping for a big return by Michael Fasusi today

[Pete Nakos @PeteNakos]

Oklahoma OL Michael Fasusi will be a game-time decision at Mississippi State today, sources tell @On3.

He's been out with a shoulder injury since the season opener against UTEP. Has been participating in practice this week.

The #Sooners hosted elite 2028 forward Leartist Williams Jr. for an unofficial visit last weekend. He’s ranked No. 31 in the class.

Williams plays at Saraland High School in Alabama, a school OU fans should know well. He’s a big target for Brock Morris and Oklahoma.

The 10 largest year-over-year upward movers in the NIL space, relative to where they were in the national hierarchy more than a year ago:

Cincinnati
LSU
Mississippi
Missouri
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State

A lot of SEC money.

Rocky Beers will be one of “my guys” for the 2027 NFL Draft.

I think he carves out a role quickly as an F tight end. He's a willing and capable blocker, but that won’t be his specialty. I love how quickly he transitions from pass catcher to runner

Wednesday’s availability report for OU vs. Mississippi State: Michael Fasusi is questionable, Ryan Fodje is out and Kamari Taylor is questionable. #Sooners

@turntuptailgate Their decision, right?

[Sooner Script (Doug Brodess) @SoonerScript]

One of my sons just shared this in a text: Oklahoma has lost the 6th-most offensive linemen in FBS since 2021. 24 departures. The median team has lost 16.

It’s nearly impossible to develop any quality or consistency, let alone depth, with this type of volatility and turnover.

[Sooner Script (Doug Brodess) @SoonerScript]

@turntuptailgate Agreed. Rarely is that contextual info given when players decide to transfer. And, I choose not to speculate
