Last year, I applied for county emergency rental assistance and was approved. My landlord decided they couldn’t wait a week to receive the funds and evicted me, violating the terms of the assistance. Now they are suing me for an amount that could bankrupt me.
After I lost my full time job in 2020 due to the pandemic, I started working 3 part time jobs in 2021, often working 7 days a week. I tried making good faith payments. I did my part to get rental assistance. Yet there is no social safety net for someone like me.
@JoshuaPHilll I was evicted after the moratorium ended and now I’m being sued and facing potential bankruptcy on top of that. If anyone is in a position to help please DM me.

The body cam footage of the fatal shooting of Ta’Kiya Young is hard to watch. Ta’Kiya was pregnant and a mother of 2 when she was shot and killed by an officer. Ta’Kiya’s family deserves answers and accountability! https://t.co/hUWNbScGqT

@jorymicah Biden has never been my favorite, but to me, he’s far better than the GOP. What is to be gained by looking only at his negatives? There are no perfect politicians. Here are some positives to consider:
The white supremacist who shot and killed three Black people at a Jacksonville Dollar General stole the lives of people simply going about their daily routines.
Anolt "AJ" Laguerre Jr., 19, started working at the Dollar General to make some "change in his pocket."
Jerrald De'Shaun Gallon, 29, was a devoted father and co-parent
Angela Michelle Carr, 52, was an Uber driver dropping off a passenger at the Dollar General

Who or what determines righteousness?
What’s popular isn’t always right.
What’s legal isn’t always right.
What feels good isn’t always right.
No one person is right all the time.
As humans, we are often more wrongteous than righteous.
Artificial Intelligence and cryptocurrency needs to be regulated NOW.
Governments need to act for the interests of the masses, not for the interests of the wealthy few.

The actors gain power from the writers being on strike.
Collective action is our power. Solidarity is our power. This isn't just true for workers in Hollywood, it's true for the entire working class.
