What a day it’s been celebrating our Radiologists and Radiographers 🥳
The day marks the discovery of x-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen back in 1895.
It’s a day to celebrate and acknowledge the work of all those working in Bolton, making a difference to patient care.

Today it has been reported that during our first round of action in England mortality rate was 11.1% above the 5 year average.
What they haven’t reported was that in Wales, where no strike action took place, mortality rate was 14% above the 5 year average. 1/3
Junior doctors are taking part in industrial action until 6.59am on Saturday 15.
This means some routine appointments are being postponed so we can prioritise emergency and urgent care.

Community Midwifery Team Leader, Alison Price, has won a special award for the care and compassion she delivers to families who sadly experience baby loss.
She picked up the ‘Arlo Award’ at the Mariposa Ball2023, which recognises medical practitioners who go above and beyond.
