Five years without my mum.

I wish she could have seen my new place; She would have loved the view! I miss her terribly.
This is the first year I haven’t felt angry that she died. I guess acceptance is slowly setting in, and I’m just sad now.

She helped me to start processing my father’s death. My mother since died, but your mum had a huge impact on her too; I think of her often.

Earlier this evening, I attended the Mass for the Feast of The Holy Souls, at The Brompton Oratory, London. The liturgical music was Fauré’s Requiem, with choir & orchestra. I wanted to share this to show how this music fits into its original full setting of a Latin Mass. This thread will be excerpts.

I’ve just had an @Ocado delivery.
I was feeling a little low this evening and Simon arrived, made me smile and, lifted my spirits.

Today, my mother would have been 81! My parents’ wedding anniversary would also have been today. Hope they’re celebrating, wherever they are. I’ve been talking to this photo as so much to tell them and I know exactly what my mum would say!
