Thailand continues to invade deeper into Cambodian territory and prepares to establish trenches in Cambodian territory.

We respectfully urge journalists to use accurate and appropriate terminology, namely: “Thailand has invaded us” and “Thai troops have illegally stationed themselves on Cambodian territory after the ceasefire.”

The areas where Thai troops are illegally stationed are not Thai territory. Cambodia continues to pursue diplomatic mechanisms and international legal mechanisms to reclaim those territories.

Cambodia has no need to wage war to invade the territory of neighboring countries. Cambodia only defends its own territory along the borderlines left by the colonial period.

Cambodia’s unchanging position is to resolve disputes peacefully through diplomacy and international law. At the same time, Cambodia will strengthen its national defense capacity in order to protect its territory in accordance with international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the ASEAN Charter. សូមបងប្អូនអ្នកសារព័ត៌មានប្រើប្រាស់ពាក្យពេចន៍ឱ្យត្រឹមត្រូវ គឺ «ថៃឈ្លានពានយើង», «ទាហានថៃបានចូលមកឈរជើងដោយខុសច្បាប់នៅលើទឹកដីខ្មែរយើងក្រោយបទឈប់បាញ់»។ តំបន់ដែលទាហានថៃឈរជើងដោយខុសច្បាប់មិនមែនជាទឹកដីថៃទេ, កម្ពុជាបន្តប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការការទូតនិងយន្តការច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិដើម្បីយកទឹកដីទាំងនោះមកវិញ។

The Thai military continues its aggression against Cambodia and has carried out indiscriminate attacks, including against innocent Cambodian civilians. According to reports, as of the evening of December 24, 30 innocent Cambodian civilians have been killed and 87 others injured.

At 10:00 am (December 24, 2025), the Thai military used T-50 fighter jets to drop four bombs into a civilian residential area deep into Cambodian sovereign territory in Banan district, Battambang province, along the route to Pailin Province, before continuing toward Chanthaburi Province. The T-50 is an aircraft manufactured in South Korea. So far, the Thai military has used three types of aircraft—made in the United States, Sweden, and South Korea—to carry out attacks on Cambodia.”

I believe that when you speak about the war and mislead Cambodia 🇰🇭, you are betraying both your conscience and your intellect, because you cannot hide the truth from the international community, especially the United States, China, and all ASEAN countries. You claim that your country is rich and developed, yet your leadership is not noble and continues to follow a history spanning hundreds of years that seeks to invade Cambodian land.
Please look at the suffering of our people, elderly, children, women, students, and soldiers who have faced your advanced weapons and lost their lives because of your aggressive actions. I know you are very skilled at spreading fake news to the world, using diplomatic language to accuse Cambodia of starting the war first. Have you slept well and eaten comfortably while innocent people live in misery?
You accuse Cambodia in many ways, yet you fail to see the real intention on your side to destroy Cambodia. Being rich does not define respect or a truly wealthy society. True wealth is when people can live together in harmony and peace, and when neighboring countries love and respect one another.

This is truly despicable and unacceptable behavior by Siam/Thailand.
They carried out shootings, bombings, killed civilians, and flew drones inside Cambodian territory, yet they turn around and accuse Cambodia of being the first aggressor, even demanding that Cambodia declare a ceasefire first. This is profoundly unjust.
Khmer people must work hard to study, stay united, increase domestic production, and focus on science and technology to build national strength, so that Siam/Thailand can no longer look down on or continue to invade Cambodia.
The world must step in to help push for justice and prevent Siam/Thailand from continuing to commit acts of destruction against Cambodia.

Thailand’s behavior fits a bullying pattern. It is using overwhelming force against a weaker neighbor while framing it as defense. It demands Cambodia agree to a ceasefire first while continuing daily strikes. It shifts blame by presenting itself as open to peace while escalating on the ground. It pushes attacks beyond immediate border areas to intimidate. It has carried out repeated strikes in or near civilian areas, contributing to displacement and civilian harm.

On the morning of December 18, 2025, a Thai F-16 fighter jet dropped three bombs into a civilian residential area of Cambodia, in Phsar Kandal Village, Phsar Kandal Commune, Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province, causing damage to one building, including the southern section of the roof of Oknha Vong Duong’s warehouse, along with some other property.
