Today, U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh staff visited Preah Sihanouk Provincial Hospital, highlighting the U.S. government’s commitment to public health. Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Benjamin Chiang, staff from the Foreign Assistance Unit, U.S. CDC, and implementing partners toured clinics supporting the hospital’s successful HIV program. With U.S. support and collaboration with the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD (NCHADS), the National Institute of Public Health, and FHI360/EpiC, Cambodia is making strides toward eliminating HIV as a public health threat. Thank you to all who make this lifesaving work possible!
