🚨 “WE ARE TIRED OF BURYING OUR PEOPLE.”
Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a regional leader of the Church of Christ in Nations in Plateau State, Nigeria, continues to speak out after years of burying Christians killed in attacks across Nigeria’s Middle Belt.
On September 25, Dachomo sat beside the graves of three church members killed the previous night in Gassa. Local reports said nine more people were killed in attacks on nearby communities within the following 24 hours.
Dachomo says he has presided over more than 70 mass burials and continues to call on Nigerian authorities and the international community to protect vulnerable Christian communities.
The violence has also struck his own family. Dachomo says nine members of his extended family were killed in a July attack that local witnesses attributed to Fulani militants.
Yet he continues to speak for widows, orphans and persecuted Christians.
And even as he criticizes failures in Nigeria’s security response, he has urged Christians to pray for the soldiers:
“Pray for them that God should show them mercy.”
🙏 Pray for Nigeria. Pray for persecuted Christians. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones. And pray for the soldiers protecting these communities.

There are people who enter needless battles blindly, driven by loyalty or solidarity without taking the time to assess the situation rationally.
Do not blindly defend or participate in matters simply to demonstrate solidarity or loyalty. We must redefine our understanding of solidarity and learn to exercise discernment.
Your father’s enemy may not necessarily be your friend, but he does not have to become your enemy.
Do not support people blindly.

David really left us a blueprint for praying through real life. He didn’t hide the fear, frustration or confusion, but he also never let those feelings have the final word.
Drugs is crazy. Yo!!!!
I follow these guys on TikTok and God is really using them to help these youths. Please say No to drugs. It takes everything from you. See how she transformed after rehabilitation 🥹
You cannot claim to believe in Jesus and not submit to his Lordship.
Saving faith is not just a mental ascent, it is also embracing the implications of the gospel’s message.

Mind you, her freedom isn’t even on the table. It’s either a prison sentence or psychiatric confinement depending on how the case is ultimately resolved. So I don’t know where some of you are getting this idea that she’s going to be “set free.” And what does that have to do with women’s rights??
I agree. If you actually read the case files, the evidence discusses her depression, her ability to know right from wrong. It also discusses her belief that she was ending the suffering for herself and her children. There was nothing about hormones being the basis of her actions.
I genuinely struggle with how we talk about cases like this.
I understand postpartum depression and other mental health conditions can severely affect a person’s judgment and behaviour. They deserve compassion, proper assessment and treatment.
But compassion should not erase accountability.
If a mother kills her children, we can acknowledge that she was severely unwell and acknowledge that children were murdered. Those two things can exist at the same time.
Mental illness can explain an action. It doesn't automatically make the action okay.
And I think we need to be careful about creating a double standard where the conversation changes depending on whether the person who committed the crime is a man or a woman.
Have compassion. Assess the illness. But don't erase the victims.
