@MeyerRants 1080 low/720p gives useless data for the vast majority of users and deceives people into thinking they need to upgrade their CPU when they don’t. Game testing should be done under realistic scenarios otherwise you might as well just run synthetic benchmarks only.
@HardwareUnboxed I actually just downgraded my 5800x + 3070 system to a 5600x + 3060ti and like it more since it runs cooler and quieter while getting maybe ~5% less gaming performance. The 5600x only cost me $180 at microcenter.
@TechDeals_16 If your goal is 1440p or 4k gaming you should absolutely spend way more on the GPU then the CPU. Why would you downgrade your GPU to upgrade your CPU when it makes performance worse? You’re also not pointing out that the i5-12400 outperforms the i9-9900k by a good amount.
@paulhardware The kind of content that interests me right now are unique builds or reviewing interesting tech related products. Maybe try reviewing the 50” Samsung Qn90a as a PC monitor. I’m sure people should be interested in a mini-led alternative to the 48” c1.
@bitwitkyle Netgear Orbi 3 pack. If you have coaxial cable run through your house you can connect them with a MOCA adapter for a 1 gig backhaul. I did that last summer and haven’t had issues since.
@KindaZevly @zUltra39@plainrocktweets It’s a super easy repair. I repaired my XS Max this past summer for $90 after the touch screen stopped working with just the I fix it guide.
