@ValueAnalyst1 FSD may work in a subset of places like SoCal, but it’s a long way from general purpose. Still can’t manage basic intersections on my commute. If it’s dark, or raining, or snowing, it completely fails in “adverse conditions” when having it work is most valuable.
@TeslaTruckClub I expect the fender design won’t work for CCS, just not enough physical space. Knowing Tesla, they will adopt a design that will work for both plug types.
If 30,000 people will pay him $100 for burnt hair, I bet those same people will pay the richest man in the world $20 a month for a blue check mark. 🤷♂️
Looks like stopping the virus totally wrecked their economy… China’s Q3 GDP grew by 3.9% from a year ago, beating analysts’ expectations (of 3.4%).
Maybe, just maybe, saving lives & stopping transmission = saving the economy in the long run.

All the time, I see people saying “Well I’m not masking because I got boosted. At least I’LL be safe this winter.”
NO. NO ONE IS EXEMPT. Newer variants do not care. People don’t seem to be getting this memo. It’s frightening.
@TeslaTruckClub Happened every time I drove at night this last road trip. FSD eventually gave up completely each time. Hardware 3 cameras are not enough for a level 5 system capable of driving in a range of conditions.
@DonBarbone@SantoroSystems@Tesla@elonmusk I also see on my commute several speed limit signs it completely misses because they are posted higher than normal or on a larger than normal sign for visibility in those locations. The car doesn’t recognize them at all.
@DonBarbone@SantoroSystems@Tesla@elonmusk There is also the question of at what distance does the car recognize a speed limit sign vs what distance does the software have confidence in the number on it.
@DonBarbone@SantoroSystems@Tesla@elonmusk Looking at the camera footage, I’m not convinced it can read them early enough. Of course, it also ignores any reduced speed ahead signs and other warnings, so recognizing and responding to those would also be a way to solve the problem in most cases.
Yeah, speaks to how little trust we should give to these @CDCgov recommendations. Why people can’t just #WearAMask to protect themselves and others is so disappointing and sad for our society.
Does anyone else find it ironic that the CDC director tweeted a useless recommendation to wash hands to prevent respiratory viruses, then tested COVID positive within 24 hours of it?
First of all, I love Autopilot. It makes road trips much easier. HOWEVER, autopilot and FSD beta need a lot of improvements, and the 1.2 mp cameras are not sufficient for a vision only system. If you ever look at the video yourself, this is absolutely pixelated. @tesla
@jonastsla @elonmusk@wholemars@DirtyTesLa Not at all my experience. Autopilot was 0/3 for night driving the last road trip. Turned itself off completely, complained about obstructed cameras (they weren’t) because it was too dark in the middle of nowhere Utah and Colorado.
