Dragon Quest 3 Remake is really good so far, wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it because of how "old school" it is. Lots of quality of life things that fix what I hate about the older JRPG's. This concludes my yearly tweet. Godspeed.
I started Attack on Titan when it first aired and have followed it fervently ever since. It's finally over. Wow. I really have no idea how to feel about it all.
I still feel it's an incredibly incomplete game that probably needed like another year of development but hey, it's hard to complain when it's still better than 99% of the games I've played out there currently.
Finally finished Baldurs Gate 3 after constantly restarting and learning the game, and man it's almost perfect. Certainly the closest to a "masterpiece" I've played in a very long time.
The more I play Baldurs Gate 3 the more I really love it, despite some of it's issues. I'm glad to see it still pumping numbers on Steam, crazy how it's retaining so many concurrent players.
As far as story is concerned this is what I've been dreaming of for so many years, a game with such a rich and expansion story with decisions that truly matter and change the outcome of everything ever step of the way.
I'm starting to really understand what they meant when they said how many different outcomes the game could present you. I already have a great idea for my next playthrough, but this one will take me awhile I hope.
I restarted a few times so I'm only 30 hours into my playthrough, with 100 total into the game and I can confidently say if the quality remains this exceptional it will easily be one of my all time favorite games.
It took a long while to get used to it's combat, but I'm finally getting the hang of Baldurs Gate 3. The decisions you can do in the story constantly blow me away, it truly feels like I can do whatever I want.
Pacing doesn't feel unplayable to a point, then I get to my current spot 20 hours in and the boss have a dozen minions and casually one shots my party members before I even have a chance to act.
I wish Baldurs Gate 3 had a story only mode, I'm so sick of the dogshit gameplay. Easily the worst turn based combat I've ever experienced, definitely the buggiest.
