Since the era of Twitter 1.0, the Twitter France now @XFrance team has been censoring French speaking African accounts championing African emancipation.

In the same way that there were #TwitterFiles in the United States, X France (formerly Twitter France) continues to implement the instructions of the French government/services to limit and censor African and Afro-descendant voices advocating for the sovereignty of Francophone Africa and the end of the “Françafrique” system.

This was already unacceptable under Jack Dorsey, but it is even less so under Elon Musk, who is a fierce advocate for free speech. Or is this only valid for American and European customers of @X ?

The number of my subscribers increases every day by several hundred people (which shows the interest and engagement the people have in this struggle/topics), while the number of people reached decreases by several ten thousand every day (which shows the limitation of reach that has been applied to my account, and not only mine).

At a time when Alex Jones' account has been reinstated, at a time when Westerners who say the same things as me suffer no limitation or shadowban, I question the sanctions I am subjected to, without having broken any X rules. Is that racism, discrimination? Do Francophone African voices not deserve to be heard, and treated fairly on this platform?? Why is it Twitter France that is handling Africa? Are we still in colonial times at X?

It goes even further.

About six months ago, I reported an account impersonating me. It uses my profile picture. It uses my banner. It displays my name. It uses a handle meant to mislead people. Yet, X France has still not deleted this account, even though it blatantly violates the X rules. And when I followed up with X France after 3 months, they replied that they are still “reviewing” the case!!! What is there to review when the platform's rules and the subscription we pay for guarantee a swift handling of impersonation cases?

In the same vein, no advertisements are placed under my replies. And my subscription is still not activated.
