Son of a dock work that became one of Southampton’s first Labour MPs, alongside Ralf Morley.
Dedicated Trade Unionist that helped form & became President of the National Seafarers Union.
Needs more than a Road dedication.

Out of the 685 Titanic members of staff who perished on that fateful night in April 1912, over 540 lived in Southampton.

A memorial and plaques should recognise them and the effect it had on the families and communities left behind.
