That’s a valid point. Traders will need to be smart around this — using different amounts, splitting transfers across multiple wallets when funds are in Sotto, etc.

🔒 How to Use Sotto: Send Tokens Privately on Solana

Sotto lets two people transfer tokens privately on Solana. Both the sender and receiver use Sotto, with each person connecting their own wallet.

⚙️ How It Works

1️⃣ Shield → The sender moves tokens from their wallet into Sotto.
2️⃣ Send Privately → The sender transfers tokens to the receiver’s Sotto address.
3️⃣ Unshield → The receiver moves the tokens from Sotto to their own wallet.

1️⃣ Shield — Sender

1. Open the token and tap Shield.
2. Enter the amount and verify “Added to your private balance.”
3. Tap Shield and approve the transaction in Phantom.

☑ The tokens are now in your private Sotto balance.

2️⃣ Send Privately — Sender

1. Open the token and tap Transfer.
2. Paste the receiver’s Sotto address and enter the amount.
3. Verify “Recipient receives” and tap Transfer.

🔒 The tokens will appear in the receiver’s private balance.

3️⃣ Unshield — Receiver

1. Open the token and tap Unshield.
2. Enter the amount and verify “Your Solana wallet receives.”
3. Tap Unshield and approve the transaction in Phantom.

💰 The tokens will arrive in the receiver’s wallet.

Unshielding is optional. The receiver can keep the tokens private and use them for another private transfer.
