In efficient governance, the most important area is prompt disposal of public grievances. Digital advancement has made it easy. Let me quote an example from Saudi Arabia: 25 years ago, it had this system in place. Any resident could submit an application, and there was a complete Track and Trace System that allowed the applicant to remotely connect via a computer and monitor the entire process until final disposal. In Pakistan, the biggest challenge when dealing with government departments is tracking and tracing your application or letter within a particular department. Moreover, the timelines set out in the Secretariat instructions for the disposal of FR (fresh receipt) are not adhered to. The e-governance system is for internal use only and has no public access. A person has to go desk to desk to check the status of their application. Unless R&I (Receipt and Issue) and the entire process have public access through the Track and Trace System, where the applicant can connect and see progress on their application, neither good governance nor the eradication of corruption can be ensured. Moreover, it is also important for public welfare and transparency.
Just read this one page on @araghchi and imagine his intellectual capacity. I spent the weekend reading his whole PhD. What a remarkable piece of work it was, written thirty years ago and arguing that modern Islamic political thought was trying to reconcile divine sovereignty with political participation, representation and even democratic institutions.
Imagine, then, where his intellectual level stands today, and now compare that with the fools and bullies negotiating with him.
@ABZayed sir I always consider UAE is my second home. I love Emirates deeply. I would urge please dont fall prey to US/Israeli agenda, US has nothing to lose. please show restraint. This patience will pay you forever.
Factual knowledge matters.
Case 1: Iran's proposal to ensure NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS was dismissed because U.S. counterparts didn't grasp the technical details.
Case 2: Americans won't "make money" from surging oil prices and tariffs. They enrich corporations and crush households.
Today I used the Emirates terminal in Dubai.
Contrary to the videos circulating on social media, there was hardly any congestion.
Check-in was extremely smooth and swift, and the flight departed on time. The aircraft itself was full.
Just a reminder: don’t believe everything you see on social media.
Verify before forming an opinion.
3/ Second, they confirmed "regime change" is also NOT on the list. So, they are going to spend hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars, get a whole bunch of Americans killed, and a hardline regime - probably a MORE anti-American hardline regime - will still be in charge.
2/ Maybe the lead is that the war goals DO NOT involve destroying Iran's nuclear weapons program. This is, uh...surprising...since Trump says over and over this is a key goal.
But then of course we already know air strikes can't wipe out their nuclear material.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
Appreciate your geo-pol understanding, but I sometimes feel you are more inclined toward the West. The war the US is fighting is a war still searching for a strategy, and it is bound to create a lot of embarrassment for US. I would appreciate it if you stayed more neutral.
My son is 5 yrs old. I'll make sure that he listen to his podcast before he turns 10. No amount of schooling can teach what this guy has taught in 21 minutes.
The Shia community needs to stand up to this fitna maker, raja nasir. Most sunnis won’t openly condemn him because they fear being misunderstood or fueling sectarian tensions. But someone needs to put him in his place, otherwise this could spiral out of control. No one should have a free pass to set the country on fire especially when it’s clear this isn’t just about love for Khomeini.. he has ulterior motives behind all this
As a Shia Muslim of Pakistan, I demand that the state immediately take action against Raja Nasir. He does not represent the Shia community. He has turned himself into nothing more than a political mouthpiece of Imran Khan, abusing the platform of Azadari for partisan politics and creating dangerous consequences for ordinary Shia Muslims across Pakistan. His actions are damaging the dignity of Azadari and placing our community in unnecessary conflict. I reject him as a representative of Shia Muslims. The government must either arrest him under the law or make it absolutely clear that this man does not speak for the Shia community of Pakistan.

The Pakistani state is in no mood to suspend its current policy towards the Taliban at the request of a number of countries, including China, Russia. Yesterday a clear message was sent by Pakistani leadership and today Pakistani security officials once again reiterate that Pakistan won't stop until the Taliban agree to Pakistan's demands re terrorism.
