Shumpert recalls the time Kobe told him โgreat gameโ before the fourth quarterโฆ and then completely figured him out.
Shumpert: โI expected much more of a headache dealing with Kobe Bryant.โ
Then Kobe walked over and said:
โGreat game, young fella. Great game.โ
I was confused. I was like:
โNigga, itโs the fucking fourth quarter. What the fuck are you doing?โ
Then Kobe started setting screens, forcing switches, picking his spots and getting open whenever he wanted.
I realized he already knew exactly what I was going to do.
Melo: โWhen Kobe says, โGood game,โ that means itโs over.โ
I have to admit:
โI can't even continue to guard him because he knows I have to switch this.โ
โHe knows I have to do this. If I don't, he's gonna make me pay immediately.โ
Kobe even started calling me a โbunny rabbitโ because I kept jumping at his shot fakes.
โHe wasnโt just beating me. He was playing chess with me.โ

I remember asking assistant coach Mo Cheeks, whatโs harder to do? Workout after practice or before?? I only asked cuz by time I would get to the gym, Russ was already done in the morning and I usually got mine in after practice. Mo like, โcoming in before practice is probably harderโโฆsince then, itโs been my routineโฆ.a lot of people looked at the emotions on the court and thought Russ was loud, nah to me, he was quiet and methodical. He lead by example and once the lights were bright, he let everything out and experienced pure freedom. It was inspiring as his teammate and everywhere I went, I seen it inspire people from all walks of life, crazy thing is, he didnโt say much, he just showed up. For 18 years. This basketball life is sacred to us as professionals, what we put into that court means everything. Some of us wish we could go back and do things with a little more intent and some can just wipe their hands and be satisfied with the time spent. Who u gonna be? We know what zero was onโฆkeep inspiring in the next phase of life champ. I donโt care what happens, canโt erase what it wasโฆThe first YNs, finals run in our early 20s, all star games, seeing each other get injured and bounce back, the bus rides, plane rides, card games, jokes and arguments, the whole thing, memorable!! โฆto the whole Westbrook family, Nina, the kids, mama Westbrook, big Russ, Ray, Donnell, everybody from luezinger high and ucla and many more that Iโm forgettin, much love and Congratulations on a iconic career.
@JrTabansi Iโm not the most car-savvy, but 4-wheel drive provides power to all four wheels, and Rear Wheel Drive provides power to the rear of the car. 4WD/AWD helps decrease slippage where RWD would lack that support.
@JrTabansi It's not surprising especially when you have people running around saying he didn't accomplish anything before LeBron got there mfs are delusional ๐๐คฃ
